David Treichel started in North Branch Area Public Schools in 2013. He supervises preK-21 curriculum, instruction, media and technology integration, and assessment. He also serves as the Director of alternative learning programs and is the Principal of NBAPS distance learning program. He coordinates district-wide staff development, district 504's, Title I and II, gifted and talented, and teacher licensure. He is the liaison for homeless, homeschool, and American Indian education, and ensures NBAPS Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports are implemented with integrity and fidelity.

David earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Master's of Education from the University of St. Thomas and his K-12 Principal/Administrative license from St. Mary's University.
